Winter!
Well, that wasn't my original understanding of autumn holidays…

God Of Trees
Today I "discovered" a grassland, or more like an opening in the forest around me, with some (more or less) lonely trees and a great atmosphere with the midday sun! Althought this place is just about 1km from my hometown I never tried to go there till today. Well, I think I have some place to go to in the next few days!

Some Other KInd Of Leaves
Well, I could start an "one texture a week" set, but really, I know I will be dropping it too soon...

Divergence
Finally, I had a chance to go to the forest again and take some shots at daylight! Hope you like them!

Falling
I was just in the mood of editing some more autumn pictures. :) This one was just a snapshot near parking space at Burg Eltz, but I hope you get the idea of the "falling" trees on the right.

Oh, and by the way, you should really view pictures like this in slideshow/large. Seeing this at 500px on flickr after working on it for half an houre in Lightroom on a 24" display is some kind of disappointing (regarding to details and atmosphere)... That's also the reason why I don't like albums with 10x15 prints...

All Green Is Gone
Color contrast... not that bad. What do you think?

Dying Leaves
This picture really fascinates me.

First, this is my first autumn image this year! Like every year, I can't realise how fast time has been passing by...

Second, the unimportant technical stuff. I think this is one of the best images I have got so far from my 400D with it's kit lens. Althought you can only see a heavily manipulated version, this is quite sharp -- and maybe the first image with the exactly same bokeh as I wished it to be! Yeah, after 1,5 years I finally managed to make use of that trashy kit lens!

An Artist's Eye

Moving shots done with an 8' Kessler Crane. Continuing in the tradition of the previous few films. It's the idea of penetrating the walls we build up around ourselves.

Canon XHA1/Letus Ultimate combo.

A day at the aquarium

After doing our civic duty and voting (Saturday 2/8/08) we headed over to the aquarium downtown and I was eager to shoot some underwater life.
